Registration
Camp registrations are done through our user-friendly online registration system. Visit sgis.org/summer to begin the process. Payment is due at time of registration. Credit card and electronic payments are accepted. Camps are filled on a first come, first served basis.
Camp Confirmation
We will email a camp session confirmation to the primary parent email address listed on the registration form. Prior to each camp week, we will send an email to all parents detailing carpool locations for drop off and pick up.
Refunds/Fees
Camp fees may not be pro-rated. A full refund will be issued if withdrawal is requested by May 20, 2023. A 75% refund will be issued if a written request for withdrawal is received at least 14 days prior to camp start date. You must submit a withdrawal request to summer@sgis.org.
Cancellations
If a camp is full or canceled for any reason, you will be contacted via email and offered the option of transferring to another camp or receiving a refund.
Medication
If your child requires medication, you and your child’s physician must complete a separate form. No medications can be given unless this form is on file. Email summer@sgis.org or call 261-2323 to obtain the required medical form.
Q: Can my child attend camp if he or she is not a St. George’s student?
A: Yes! We offer a wide variety of summer camps that are open to students from all area schools. There are a few academic Jumpstart camps in Week 7 that are closed to the general public because they are designed to help prepare St. George's students for the specific grade they will enter in the fall.
Q: How will I know if I am registered for camp?
A: Once you have completed the online registration process, we will send an email confirmation to the email address you provided.
Q: Can my child attend Camp Gryphon for one day or must he or she be enrolled for the entire week?
A: We are unable to offer a daily drop-in rate for Camp Gryphon. Your child must be enrolled for the entire week.
Q: Can I enroll my child in specialty camps for one day or must he or she be enrolled for the entire week?
A: St. George’s specialty camps are priced for the full week because concepts build upon one another each day. Please check camp listings for pricing information.
Q: Can my child attend a half-day of Camp Gryphon before or after his or her specialty camp?
A: Yes. Please register for both the specialty camp and a half day of Camp Gryphon.
Q: How do I register for camp?
A: We are pleased to offer families the convenience of registering online. Registration opens March 3. Payment is due at time of registration. Credit card and electronic payments are accepted. Register early! Camps will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Q: Do we receive a refund if we paid for a camp we can no longer attend?
A: A full refund will be issued if withdrawal is requested by May 20, 2023. A 75% refund will be issued if a written request for withdrawal is received at least 14 days prior to camp start date. You must submit a withdrawal request to summer@sgis.org. Camp fees may not be pro-rated.
Q: What happens if St. George’s cancels a camp for which we registered?
A: If a camp is canceled for any reason, we will contact you via email and offer you the option of transferring to another camp or receiving a refund of the remaining balance.
Q: Do you offer before and after care?
A: We are offering care for a fee from 7:30-9:00 a.m. and in the afternoon from 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Q: Are you able to administer medications to my child?
A: If your child requires medication, you and your child’s physician must complete a separate form. No medications may be given without having this form on file. Email summer@sgis.org or call 261-2323 to obtain the required medical form.
