St. George's Independent School is committed to a dynamic learning environment staffed by dedicated and experienced teachers. Tuition, however, does not cover the actual cost of educating our students. We must raise additional funds in order to properly prepare our students to thrive in a complex and interdependent world.

What is Annual Giving?

Annual giving ensures that the school has the resources necessary to deliver the St. George’s experience – from great teachers, counselors, and coaches to technology, library resources, and learning specialists.  Indeed, annual giving impacts every area of school life.  The school relies on annual giving to keep the cost of tuition as affordable as possible.  Annual giving also provides a way for constituents of the school to demonstrate in concrete fashion that they are behind the school, which in turn helps to mobilize support from outside sources such as businesses, foundations, and philanthropists who have no personal connection to the school.  We invite all of you in the St. George's community to join in making this year’s campaign a resounding success!

Why should I give to the Annual Fund?

High levels of participation show School leadership and the surrounding community that parents, grandparents, alumni, former parents, faculty, and staff are willing to invest in their children's future and support the School's mission statement.

Why is participation important?

Many foundations that fund schools look to the schools parent body, faculty, staff, grandparents and alumni to see if they are supportive of the school.  Your gift to the Annual Fund is an affirmation that you believe St. George's is an exceptional school.  Typically, St. George's Faculty and Staff all give to the Annual Fund - as does the St. George's Board of Trustees.  Please join the faculty, staff and board in supporting St. George's today!

Is there a deadline for Annual Fund?

Our fiscal year begins on July and ends June 30. While we prefer gifts and payments to be made no later than March 1, we will accept contributions through June 30. Our goal is to encourage participation as early as possible to ensure a successful year.

How Do I Make My Gift?

3) Give a gift of appreciated securities – call 901.261.2385.

4) Give monthly through electronic funds transfer.  Download the form and mail it to the foundation office (see address above) along with a voided check.
