Norris, Jr.'s Outdoor Adventure Series

Norris McGehee, Jr. was a member of the St. George's Class of 2019 who died in the summer of 2006, just after his junior kindergarten year. Norris, Jr. embraced the wonder and joy of life. He loved his family, friends, and God. He built forts, loved sports and the outdoors, and hosted his friends, or as he liked to call them, his "guestees." To honor his memory, his parents partnered with the school to create the Norris, Jr. Outdoor Adventure Series, an exciting outdoor program designed to educate lower school students in grades 2-5 about the wonder, amazement, and beauty of the outdoors. Each fall, students in grades 2-5 and their families are invited to the Norris, Jr. Campout to hike, eat and play. Each Spring, students in grade 1-3 and their families are invited to the Norris, Jr. Spring Preview Event to explore the Collierville trails and learn more about our outdoors experiences.
