Extended Day: Collierville

Extended Day is for students in grades 6-8. It provides a safe environment for students who remain on campus after formal dismissal. Activities include supervised study time and recess. All Middle School students will be sent to Extended Day if they are not participating in an adult-supervised activity after formal dismissal.

Families can register for Extended Day in Veracross. There is a rate for students needing care every day, a discounted rate for athletes who may need care throughout the season, and a drop-in rate. The athletic season rate applies to student-athletes who are rostered on a school-sponsored athletic team. Students who are not rostered on an athletic team but who need regular care should register by the month.

Click to view procedures for Extended Day. This year, students will have an option to check out of Extended Day to attend on-campus events like games or student life events. Only students with parent permission on file may check out to attend on-campus events as spectators and/or participants. If you would like to allow your child this freedom, please complete the Extended Day permission form and send it with your child to turn in to the Extended Day monitors or email a copy to Traci Erlandson.

$175 per season for rostered student-athletes
$120 per month
$15 per day / drop-in rate

Fall season begins August 16
Winter season begins November 1
Spring season begins February 14

To register for Extended Day, please use the button below to log in to Veracross and select the days you would like your child to join us in Extended Day. For the monthly rate, please choose all five days. For season rate, please choose all five days and email Ann McCormack. For drop in, please choose only the days your child will attend. Questions? Authorization to Pick Up

Only authorized adults designated in the registration process will be allowed to pick up students. Written authorization is required for pick up by someone other than those listed in the registration process.

Health

Participants must have an up-to-date immunization form on file at the school. Parents should note any dietary or physical restrictions during registration. If a student becomes ill during Extended Day, parents will be notified and asked to pick up their child.

Discontinuation

Students are expected to adhere to the policies within the Family Handbook. St. George’s reserves the right to dismiss any student from Extended Day.
