At HappyFeet, our approach is simple. We want to introduce soccer in a way that opens up doors of possibility for young kids both on the field and off. The goal is for kids to not only learn the wonderful game of soccer, but to have fun, build social skills, improve self-confidence and instill a brave, creative go-for-it mentality that can help provide the right foundation for the rest of their lives!
By developing skills through our curriculum and whole child approach in a fun, non-competitive environment, your soccer star will be empowered to learn some of the most challening deceptive dribbling skills in soccer..fearlessly. You will not see your child sitting on their ball or standing in a line waiting for their turn for one player to score a goal. In HappyFeet, our goal is to get as many touches as possible on the ball, build confidence, become more comfortable, and fall in love with the ball at his or her feet.
We hope this amazing learning experience will build a solid platform for a life long love and involvement in physical fitness and team sports...but selfishly we hope it's soccer!
Students will learn various beats and rhythms as well as proper technique during a group practice, to prepare for various performances at school spirited events. Drums and other equipment are provided. Students need to bring a pair of drum sticks.
