The role of the St. George's Board of Trustees is to lead the school strategically to ensure the viability of its mission and the school’s overall sustainability. Our Board of Trustees is responsible for working with the school’s administration to develop policies and make essential decisions by which our school's three campuses, located in Memphis, Germantown and Collierville, are governed and guided.
Gary Dodson is the CEO/Partner of the TAG/Lonestar Truck Group, a 23 location Freightliner heavy truck dealer operating in eight states. The combined entity has over 1,000 employees and approximately $800 million in annual sales. The company has been nominated for various local business awards and is ranked in the top ten places to work in Memphis. Mr. Dodson has B.B.A in accounting from Texas A&M and Masters in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas – School of Management. He is a member of the Society of Entrepreneurs, and sits on the boards of the Better Business Bureau of the Mid-South, Collage Dance Collective, the Phase 8 Homeowners Association, and the Lisbon Cemetery Fund. Gary and his wife, Dena, joined the St. George’s community in 2011 and are residents of Germantown. They have two children, Lauren ’16, now at UT Knoxville, and Abby ’21.
