Did you ever envision doing this when you were at St. George’s?
I loved learning about the Stock Exchange in Mrs. Hamilton’s fifth grade class. With my father as a futures broker, I had a feeling I would end up involved with the markets in some fashion. But did I think this at age 12? Probably not!
How did St. George’s prepare you for college, career, life?
Teamwork! You can accomplish so much more if you build great relationships with others along the way.
What is your favorite St. George’s memory?
The field trips! My dad would chaperone with Mr. Jack, Gene Horner, and others. One of my favorite memories is the ghost story of “Chief Thundercloud” at Land Between the Lakes. Chief Thundercloud lives on with my children today!
What do you feel St. George’s does best?
St. George’s offers an exceptional education in a family environment. I always felt important, safe, and nurtured during my days at St. George’s.
Why do you give to the Annual Fund?
It’s the least we can do after receiving such a fantastic education while making great memories.
What advice would you give to St. George’s students or young alumni today?
Listen to your teachers, parents, grandparents and heed their advice. They know way more than you do.
