How did St. George’s prepare you for college, career, and life?
St. George’s taught me to be relentless in my studies, but it also taught that patience is a virtue that you shouldn’t take lightly. Timing for everyone looks different. Your time is always coming just continue to trust your process and your hard work.
What activities/sports/clubs, etc., were you involved while at St. George’s?
Student Council, Track & Field, Football, Basketball, French Club, Prefect my senior year. I'm sure there are more that I don't remember.
Which teacher had the greatest impact on you and why?
There were multiple. Kimberly Callaway, Katlyn Underwood, Tom Morris, and Mrs. Jenson. They taught me humility, work ethic, and genuineness.
What is your favorite St. George’s memory?
Probably winning a state championship freshman year, then going back to state junior year.
What advice would you give to St. George’s students or young alumni today?
Just remember when you’re at a school like SG, accomplishments can seem like they need to happen everyday, but that’s not the case. Focus on being a kid and enjoying learning from your teachers. You are the sum of all your experiences so continue to make those experiences positive and not stressful! We grow up fast don’t try and make it ever faster.
