Admission Process Overview

This overview will help guide you through the admission process. If you have any questions, please contact the admission office at your campus of interest.

Important Admission Dates for 2016-17

December 1:  Admission application deadline for priority consideration
February 17:  Admission notification date
March 1:  Enrollment contract and deposit due

1. Inquire online.

We are eager to know your family better and share the St. George’s experience with you. Begin the St. George’s admission process by submitting an online inquiry at sgis.org/applynow.


2. Schedule a campus tour and/or a student visit.

Schedule a campus tour and student visit day at the campus of your interest. Early Childhood applicants (for grades PK-1) are invited to choose from an array of early childhood admission events. A half-day visit is recommended for all Elementary, Middle, and Upper School applicants in grades 2-12. Review all admission event offerings and submit an RSVP at sgis.org/admissionevents.

3. Submit online application.

Log in to the SGIS admission portal (created with submission of your online inquiry) to access the admission application. The application deadline for priority consideration is December 1. Once an application is received, along with the Records Release Form and non-refundable application fee, the Admission Office will contact the student’s current school for official records and supporting documents including report cards, transcripts, and teacher recommendations.

4. Complete admission screening/testing.

Once an admission application is complete, the Admission Office will contact applicants for grades PK-4 to arrange an admission screening. Applicants for grades 5-12 will register for the Independent School Entrance Exam at iseetest.org (School ID:432539), where test sites, fees, and dates can be found.

5. Complete admission interview.

An admission interview will be scheduled by the Admission Office for grade 5-12 applicants.
