Birthday books are a great way to recognize your child's birthday at St. George's, while making a gracious gift to the school’s library!
Here's how it works:
Your child will choose a favorite book from an assortment of titles chosen by our librarians. A St. George’s bookplate with your child’s name will be permanently placed in the book when it is put into circulation. The names of all the children for whom a birthday book was donated will be listed in the school’s Annual Report published in September. (Summer birthdays are acknowledged at a special time usually in May or August.)
If you, a relative, or special friend would like to donate a book to our library in honor of your child, please click the button below, fill out the form, and bring a check in the amount of $25.00 to the school. (These gifts are tax deductible in accordance with laws of the IRS.)
A donation to the library is also a great way to remember a teacher’s birthday, special event, or to just say thanks for a great year! Instead of Christmas candy, think…books! Gifts to the library in honor of someone may be made through the Office of Advancement in any amount desired.
