Off-campus activities, overnight trips, and foreign travel are ways we extend learning beyond our school walls. Not only do these trips provide experiences of community, but they also reinforce classroom curriculum through hands-on learning. Students in every grade level participate in multiple field trips throughout the year. Students in the early childhood grades may learn about their local community by visiting the post office or grocery store. Beginning in fourth grade, classes go on overnight class trips. Middle and upper school students may test their leadership skills by participating in team-building activities at Victory Ranch or by backpacking in the mountains of Tennessee.
